CORE ISSUES

I believe immigration laws matter, and they must be enforced to maintain a fair and orderly system. I support securing our borders and implementing consistent, lawful processes that ensure accountability.

We need structured transitional housing that helps people rebuild their lives — not remain trapped in crisis. Our streets and parks cannot remain homeless camps.

Compassion without accountability is not working. Oregon needs real recovery pathways, treatment-first systems, and a better approach when it comes to mental health. We must work hand-in-hand with law enforcement and mental health professionals to quell the drug-pocalypse that has hit Eugene.

Eugenians are overtaxed and under-served. It’s time to simplify the tax system, reduce waste, and focus on economic policies that support small businesses, workers, and local communities. I will fight to end all state taxes, including property taxes.

Eugene’s economy can be strengthened by supporting small businesses, cutting unnecessary regulatory barriers, and investing in local innovation that creates real, sustainable jobs. By expanding workforce training and partnering with emerging industries like energy and technology, we can build a resilient economy that works for everyone.

I support the right of adults to marry who they love and believe every Oregonian deserves dignity, respect, and equal protection under the law. I also support increased access to mental health resources and believe we should approach these issues with compassion, honesty, and a focus on helping people live healthy, stable lives.

In Eugene, rising costs are pricing people out of their own community. I’ll work to streamline local approvals, support responsible development, and expand housing options so families, workers, and seniors can afford to stay here.

Too many people no longer feel safe in their own neighborhoods. I’ll fight for stronger law enforcement presence, better coordination between agencies, and real investment in mental health and addiction services to restore safety and trust in our community.

Schools across Oregon are struggling, and we see that right here in Eugene. I support school choice—because every parent should have the ability to choose the best educational path for their child, whether that’s public, charter, or other options. At the same time, we need to support our teachers, improve accountability, and expand career and technical education so students graduate with real opportunities and a clear path forward.
